Warranty

The model is covered by a warranty of ten years on outdoor coil, on internal functional parts that includes indoor gas furnace, coil, air handler and thermostat. Other than these a 12 year limited warranty is available on the compressor of Trane XL16i. Beginning May 1 2009, Registered Limited Warranty terms are available if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Registration can be completed either online at the manufacturer’s website of by phone. If the product is not registered within 60 days of installation Trane’s Base Limited Warranty terms apply.
