Registered Limited Warranty terms are available if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Both online and telephonic registration can be done. Trane’s Registered Limited Warranty terms gives a 12 Year limited warranty on compressor, a 10 Year limited warranty on outdoor coil, and 10 Year limited warranty on internal functional parts. It also gives a ten year Functional Parts Limited Warranty extends to the indoor gas furnace, coil, air handler and thermostat when installed as part of a complete XLi comfort system. An XLi comfort system includes an AHRI certified matching Trane outdoor XLi unit, indoor unit and it also has a thermostat installed at the same time. If the product is not registered within 60 days of installation, Trane’s Base Limited Warranty terms will apply. There is also a provision of Optional Extended Warranty which can pay for labor and other costs not covered by manufacturer's limited warranty. Warranties are for residential use only, but there are some exceptions.
