	NanoMax Portable CF14000E by Bill (New Berlin, NY, USA) Bought the black model. It's a very good looking unit with a burl-wood looking control panel. It brings down a rooms temperature very fast. But there's where the good part ends. It is extremely loud, even in slow speed, with the fan sounding more like a turbine. Turning off the A/C mode shows very little difference in sound indicating that the problem is not the compressor. Other purchasers making comments on the internet have the same unacceptable sound problem. To make matters worse, I now find that the manufacturer is no longer in business.
