Fedders A6R12F7A Air Conditioner
I have installed the Fedders A6R12F7A air conditioner about two months ago and I have already started facing problems. I was very fascinated with its design and electronic touch control panel, remote control feature etc. but all my expectation died after I have started to use it. The touch controls on the unit doesnít function properly as I have to press it a few times to set any of the functions. I donít mind pushing the switches couple of times but the compressor sometimes stops in the middle of the cooling operation and I have to change options or switch the unit off and then on to restart the air conditioner.
It has been only two months and I have encountered so many problems which are quite disappointing and when I reported the problem to the service center they said that the companyís service center is not available locally hence they canít promise me the required services and would try to solve the problem soon. It has been almost two weeks since I have heard from them, they didnít even call me once I have emailed them about two days back and I am currently waiting for their response.
Now I find the remote and electronic touch pad feature useless I wish I had gone for a simple and less expensive air conditioner than choose this latest model and design available in Fedders. When I did a bit of research work on the model and brand name I found that there is no warranty for the product, now I am left with a piece of junk that cannot be repaired.
